Process Timeline

  • Aluminum

  • Concrete

  • GlobalMAX waterjet

  • Miller Millermatic 255 MIG Welder

  • Angle grinder

  • Diamond polish

  • OMTech CO2 Laser Engraver

  • Source sheet aluminum

  • Cut the aluminum sheet on a waterjet

  • Weld all but 1 side of the cube

  • Grind down aluminum welds

  • Mix  and pour the concrete into the cube

  • Weld the last piece of aluminum sheet

  • Polish to a mirror finish

  • Laser-engraved design
